I am Confident:

When everything in the world around me falls apart and it seems impossible that any good can come from the chaos; I am confident in the promise of God to work everything out for good for those who love Him. (Romans 8:28)

When the culture around me is trying to rewrite what is true; I am confident that even though the grass may wither and the flowers fade away, God and His Word stands unchanged. (Isaiah 40:8)

When I keep doing the things I don’t want to do and the things I want to do, I don’t do; I am confident that His grace is sufficient and He who started a good work in me will bring it to completion.(Philippians 1:6)

When I doubt God- His goodness, His wisdom, and His involvement; I am confident that God will be true to his promise to be faithful when I am faithless. (2 Timothy 2:13)

When I am painfully aware of my inadequacies and my many weaknesses; I am confident that God’s power is made perfect in my weaknesses. (1 Corinthians 12:9)

When the future is a big question mark and life’s happenings appear to be random and without purpose, I am confident that God is sovereign and my every day is written in His book. (Psalm 139:16)

When fear threatens to overtake me and consume my heart; I am confident that God will sustain me, for never will He leave or fail me. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

When I wonder how God can still love and delight in me when I am so prone to wander; I am confident nothing will ever separate me from His love. (Romans 8:38)

When I find joy in following Jesus and enjoy His presence; I am confident it is because He has come to give life, abundant and full. (John 10:10)

When I am having one of those really good days and I’m so thankful to be alive; I am confident that every good and perfect gift comes from my Father. (James 1:17)

My confidence is only as strong as the person I chose to place it in.

For that reason, I’ve chosen to place my confidence in Jesus; my God, my Savior, my Redeemer and my Friend.
